I spoke of Faith. Now…I’ll kneel to Reverence. Our first date. I stood calmly in His bedroom. Still. Waiting. A lioness’ instinctive understanding short-circuited my usual primal sexual aggression. I knew this man before I knew Him. Though desire and need raged through my veins, my lioness lowered her head in acquiescence to a Power she had known before time began and been searching for this entire lifetime. I waited. Utterly defenseless. To see how He would move. To see what He would want of me. To see which direction He would Lead us. He shifted behind me in the dim light. His first touch. A bold unmistakable Claim. With a deliberate slowness that seemed to last eternity, His fingers dug into my biceps as His teeth sank into my tender flesh where neck meets shoulder. Essay #3 | Vendors & My Groaning Wallet

FINALLY...a week later, I finish UNPACKING from TES Fest!  Unlike packing, this process allowed me to unwrap, touch, and/or play with all the goodies I brought home with me, so there were little bursts of joy to carry me through the week as I emptied one bag and then another.  ")

I'd purchased a number of custom pieces over the last 2 1/2 years from folks like Whispers of Fire Fet | Website, Whips by Axel Fet | Website, Toolworks Chicago Fet | Website, and UniqueKink Fet | Website, so my S&M Toolbox was VERY well set.  Yes...Kinky Retail Therapy during the pandemic was a thing for me...don't judge. lol

Knowing my toolbox was already too damn big to take with me any-fucking-where anymore, my Lifestyle spending for 2022 was going to focus more on gear.  After all, I AM doing the Con/Run thing now!  Gotta show up and represent, right???  I'd browsed the TES Fest Vendor websites, but meh...only one piece caught my eye.  I had my budget.

HA!  Mr. CL had warned me, but my ass just didn't understaaaaand...

I have no problem admitting I'd completely underestimated how PHENOMENAL the Vendors would be at TES Fest 2022, and I didn't even visit them all!  After I'd spent essentially my entire year's budget, I refused to visit one more damn room/table/spot!  My wallet was ready to bitch slap me, but I absolutely LOVE everything I'd purchased.

Steelbones | Fet | Website  | My first stop.  Holy shit, they have BEAUTIFUL corsets!  I meant to walk in there and grab one.  ONE!  Instead I walked out of there with TWO in under 15 minutes and plan to buy at least one more before the end of the summer.  Is there a frequent shopper discount?!? lol  

Pendragon Chainmail via UniqueKink | Etsy Shop | I'd already purchased my UniqueKink floggers & dragontails in 2020, so I felt pretty safe just stopping by to look around.  However, Amber (I'm HOPING I got her name right! Too many naaaaaames...) was absolutely delightful and charming every time I ran into her, and before I knew it I'd bought the last chainmail skirt they had, which was on her body, as well as a chainmail whip.  Again...that whip was NOT in my plans, but the second I threw it and heard that CRACK rip through the room, sadistic bliss ran down my spine, and I was opening my wallet.  LOL

Cutting Edge | Fet | I browsed out of curiosity.  Aside from my throwing knives, I'd long ago quit looking for steel.  Any shop I've hit was always filled with over the top testosterone-laden crutches.  ~ eye roll ~ Cutting Edge's selection was insane, and low and behold...I found a little something for me!  ")

I also caught the stuffie heaven spot (sorry...I don't know the vendor) and was fascinated to watch them stuff the stuffies.  It ALMOST made me want to buy one.  If I had a little in my world I sooooo would have been sucked in to spoil them.  

~HAT TIP~ to TES Fest 2022 for the broad and professional Vendors.  Next year, I'll readjust my budget accordingly!  And maybe bring an extra bag just to take everything home.  LOL

FUCK, Covid!  I've been a socially defiant bitch more often than not.  When the world starts going one way, something in my mind always tells me to jump off that bus. Yeah...this fucking sucks.  Everywhere for everyone it sucks.  COVID (either it or the fear/threat of it) is everywhere.  But for fuck sake...does it HAVE to insinuate itself FULLY into Fet?!? If Facebook has turned into a political, socially dividing, fact-checking, misleading propaganda machine, then FetLife has turned into a giant mother fucking emotional therapy support center of tears and sniffles and traumatized blank stares.
